With the school holidays passing quickly, it is timely to provide a few reminders for the beginning of the school year.
Office Opens
The Administration office will open on Monday 18 January. Student Reports from 2020 can be collected during this time, as can any subject change forms.
Enrolment interviews will also be taken during this week, prospective families should call the office to make a time for an interview, remembering there is paperwork that will need to be completed prior to the interview so time should be allowed for that prior to the interview time.
This first week is often extremely busy in the office so your patience and cooperation are appreciated.
Students Return
On Wednesday 27 January, 2021, all students are expected at school. The day will commence with Year Level Parades followed by orientation in KTS classes before commencing classes in Period 3.
New students who are unsure on where to go on the first day, should assemble in the office at 8.30am where staff will escort the students to their year level area.
Book requirements
Each student is required to have Essential Stationery as well as notebooks etc. listed on the relevant Stationery Lists.
If a family is choosing not to participate in the Student Resource Scheme (SRS), then families also need to provide all the other textbooks and resources for use by their student whilst at school. SRS forms will be sent home on the first day of school and should be returned on the Thursday (Years 10-12) and Friday (Years 7-9) of the first week. Full payment of $140 per student, whilst appreciated at this time, can be broken into smaller instalments if necessary to assist families at this financially difficult time of the year. Payment options are outlined on the form or on the Payments page and can be made at any time, ensuring reference is clearly made to the student for whom the payment is being made especially for online banking options.
Uniforms
The P&C Uniform Shop will be open from the Stadium Thursday 21 and Friday 22 January 2021. Once school returns, it will return to operation from the school tuckshop from 8am to 2pm each school day.
To assist parents during the school year, they do allow for electronic ordering / payment of uniforms which students can then collect from the Tuckshop the following day. An Order Form with all the bank details is available.
Senior students (years 11 and 12) are required to have a formal uniform as well as the day uniform. The shirts, ties and skirts are available from the Uniform shop. Formal Black Pants are to be sourced privately.
