For more than 60 years, Isis District State High School has been an integral part of the Childers and Isis district community. As the region's only secondary school, we are proud of our long history of supporting generations of local families and preparing young people for successful futures.
Many of our community, business, and industry leaders are former students of Isis District State High School. This strong connection to our past reminds us of the important role we play in shaping the future of our community. We value the traditions and achievements of those who have come before us while continually evolving to meet the needs of today's learners.
In a rapidly changing world, we believe every student deserves access to a quality education that prepares them for a wide range of future opportunities. Through a broad curriculum, diverse learning experiences, and strong community partnerships, we support students to pursue pathways into further education, training, employment, and community leadership.
At the heart of our school culture are our RISE values:

We actively participate in learning, contribute to our community, and take responsibility for our future.
These values guide our decisions, shape our culture, and help create a positive learning environment where every student is supported to thrive, achieve their goals, and make a meaningful contribution to society.
